Yingtian(Hayley) He

Hayley completed her BSc with a double major in biology and psychology (clinical specification) at University of California, San Diego. During her undergraduate study, she developed a strong interest in how neural circuits analyze external stimulation, make decisions, and execute motor actions.  As a PhD student in Liu’s lab, Hayley is using electrophysiology to study the functional properties of various neuronal populations in the brainstem circuits mediating optokinetic reflex.

Outside of lab, Hayley enjoys working out, playing video games, playing with cats and dogs, and napping.
