Teaching

I am currently teaching two undergraduate courses and one graduate course.

BIO361 Biometrics II: This course covers topics in biological statistics at an advanced level, including multiple regression, concepts of power, multi-factor analysis of variance, advanced experimental designs, logistic regression, randomization, generalized linear models and principal component analyses.

BIO408 Neural Circuit Structure and Function: This course covers contemporary topics in systems neuroscience, focusing on the relationship between the circuit structure and function of mammalian brains.

CSB 1020 Current Techniques in Neuroscience: This course will examine emerging cutting-edge techniques that are revolutionizing fundamental neuroscience research. Techniques to be investigated include: optogenetics, chemogenetics, current strategies for cell-type-specific transgene expression and virus-based circuit tracing, large scale electrophysiology, next generation fluorescent indicators, new imaging techniques such as two photo imaging and super-resolution microscopy.
