Milena Russo

Milena completed her BSc degree at UTM with a double major in Biology for Health Sciences and Psychology. Through her undergrad, Milena developed a passion for neuroscience. This led her to continue her studies and pursue a MSc degree at the Liu Lab. Her research interests include the functional roles of inhibitory neural circuits in the brainstem and the potential to genetically restore visual functions in blind mice. Outside the lab, Milena enjoys painting and spending time with her friends and family.
